How to use this tool
Audio Joiner places your clips end to end and exports a single MP3 file. The files can be in different formats, because each one is converted to the same sample rate and stereo layout before joining. Everything is processed in your browser after a one-time engine download.
- 01
Click Choose files and select 2–20 clips
Select all the clips at once, or drop them onto the button together. Each file can be up to 100 MB; all of them together must stay within 200 MB and 10 minutes.
- 02
Set the play order
The numbered list shows the order. Click the up arrow next to a clip to move it earlier, or the × to remove it.
- 03
Click Process audio and download
Wait for the progress bar, then play the joined MP3 and check each transition before clicking Download.
How the order works
• Clips play from the top of the list to the bottom • The up arrow moves a clip one place earlier • Choosing files again replaces the whole list, so select every clip in one go • There is no gap or crossfade between clips
Limits
• 2 to 20 files per join • Up to 100 MB per file and 200 MB in total • Combined length of 10 minutes or less • Every file needs an audio track, including videos
Getting smooth transitions
• Trim silence at the start and end of each clip with the audio trimmer first • If one clip is much quieter, run it through the audio normalizer before joining • Record clips with the same mic and room so they sound alike • Listen closely around each join point in the result
What the joined file looks like
• Format: MP3 at 192 kbps • Sample rate: 44.1 kHz, stereo; mono clips play in both channels • Video clips contribute only their sound • File name: joined-audio.mp3
Frequently asked questions
What is an audio joiner?
An audio joiner combines separate recordings into one file that plays straight through. This one places your clips back to back in list order and exports a single MP3. It’s handy for intros, episode segments and voice notes.
How do I merge audio files online?
1. Click Choose files and select all your clips at once. 2. Use the up arrows to set the order. 3. Click Process audio. 4. Play the joined MP3 and click Download.
Are my audio files uploaded?
No. All clips are read and joined by FFmpeg inside your browser, so they stay on your device. The engine is fetched once from a public CDN the first time you process audio, and your browser caches it.
Is the audio joiner free, and is there a watermark?
Yes, it’s free and nothing is added to your audio: no voice tag, beep or intro. The limits are 20 files, 200 MB in total and 10 minutes of combined audio per join.
Can I merge MP3, WAV and M4A files together?
Yes. Mixed formats are fine as long as FFmpeg can decode each file. Every clip is resampled to 44.1 kHz stereo first, so different sample rates and mono or stereo clips join cleanly.
What format is the merged file?
The result is always an MP3 at 192 kbps, 44.1 kHz stereo, named joined-audio.mp3. For a WAV version, open that MP3 in the audio converter and choose WAV.
Can I add a pause or crossfade between clips?
Not with this tool; clips are joined with no gap and no fade. To add a pause, record or export a short silent clip and place it between the others in the list.
Why do I see an error about duration or size?
The combined audio must be 10 minutes or less, and the files must total 200 MB or less. Split the job into two joins or trim the clips first. A clip without a sound track also triggers an error.
Can I merge audio on my phone?
Yes, in current mobile browsers such as Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. Joining uses your device’s memory, so a computer handles many or long clips more reliably.
How do I add more files after my first selection?
Choosing files again replaces the current list instead of adding to it. Put all the clips in one folder and select them together, or drag them onto the Choose files button at the same time.
