How to use this tool
To make a GIF from pictures, add two or more images, put them in order and press Make GIF. You choose how long each frame shows, the GIF width and whether it loops forever or plays once. Use up to 20 JPG, PNG or WebP photos, screenshots or drawings; pictures of a different shape are fitted neatly onto a background color. The GIF is built right in your browser, with no upload and no watermark.

Add your images
Choose 2 to 20 JPG, PNG or WebP files. They play in the order shown; use the arrow next to a file name to move it up.
- 02
Set timing and size
Enter the seconds each frame shows (0.02–10, with 0.5 a good start), the GIF width (16–1200 px), the loop setting and a background color for the edges of differently shaped pictures.
- 03
Make and download
Press Make GIF, watch the preview loop and download it. For sites with a size limit, the SocQ GIF compressor makes it smaller.
Choosing the frame time
• 0.05–0.1 s: smooth, fast motion from a burst of photos • 0.2–0.5 s: a lively flip-book or step-by-step demo • 1–2 s: a slideshow where each picture can be read GIF timing is stored in hundredths of a second, so values are rounded to 0.01 s.
GIF sizes for chats, sites and social posts
GIF size grows with width, frame count and color detail, and each frame uses up to 256 colors. 480 px suits chats, Slack, Discord and most websites; 320 px is ideal for email signatures and stickers; 800–1200 px works for blog headers and product demos. Flat graphics and screenshots give the smallest files. For an even lighter file, use fewer frames or run the result through the GIF compressor.
Pictures of different shapes
The GIF takes its shape from the first picture: its width is the value you set and its height follows the first picture's aspect ratio. Every other picture is scaled to fit whole inside that frame, and any space around it is filled with the background color. For edge-to-edge frames, crop all pictures to the same ratio first, or pick a background that matches them.
