How to use this tool

To convert PNG to JPG, add your PNG files, pick a background color and quality, and download the JPGs at the same width and height. JPG files are much smaller for photos and screenshots, and every email client, printer and upload form accepts them. Transparent areas are filled with the color you choose, white by default, and everything runs in your browser.

  1. 01

    Add your PNG images

Click Choose files or drop up to 20 images onto the tool. PNG, JPG, WebP and AVIF files work, each up to 30 MB and 40 megapixels.

  2. 02

    Pick the background and quality

Transparent pixels are filled with the Background color, white by default. Quality (%) runs from 10 to 100 and starts at 90; lower values give smaller files.

  3. 03

    Compare and download

The JPG updates as you change settings. Check the size in KB, then click Download, or Download ZIP for a batch.

Why convert PNG to JPG

• Make screenshots and photos much smaller for email and chat • Meet upload forms and marketplaces that ask for JPG • Send images to printers and any photo app • Speed up web pages and newsletters that use photographic PNGs

Choosing quality

• 90 is a safe default for photos and product shots • 75–85 works well for social posts and previews • Keep text-heavy graphics and sharp lines at 90 or above for crisp edges • For logos that need transparency, keep the PNG or convert to WebP with the PNG to WebP converter

Backgrounds for marketplaces and social media

Every see-through pixel is painted with your background color before saving. White suits documents, product listings and most marketplaces; your brand color makes logo posts for Instagram, LinkedIn or YouTube community posts look intentional. Need a 1080 × 1080 square or a 1280 × 720 thumbnail? Resize the JPG with the social media image resizer.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert PNG to JPG?

1. Click Choose files and select up to 20 PNG images. 2. Pick a Background color and set Quality (%). 3. Check the JPG preview, then click Download or Download ZIP.

How do I convert PNG to JPG without a black background?

Set the Background color before you download. This converter fills transparent pixels with white by default, or with any color you pick, so the JPG never ends up with a black background.

Does PNG to JPG reduce quality?

At the default of 90 the difference is hard to see in photos. JPG uses lossy compression, so raise Quality (%) toward 100 for graphics with sharp text and lines.

How much smaller will the JPG be?

It depends on the image. Photos and screenshots with many colors often shrink a lot, while simple flat graphics change less. The result shows the exact size in KB.

Can I convert many PNGs at once?

Yes. Add up to 20 images, and the same background and quality apply to all of them. Download ZIP saves every JPG together.

Is JPG the same as JPEG?

Yes. JPG and JPEG are the same format; the three-letter extension dates from older Windows file names. The files this tool creates end in .jpg.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser and the images stay on your device.

How many images can I convert?

Up to 20 images per batch, each up to 30 MB and 40 megapixels, with unlimited batches.

Does the JPG keep the original size?

Yes. The JPG has exactly the same width and height as the PNG. To change the dimensions, use the social media image resizer.

Is the PNG to JPG converter free?

Yes. No signup, no watermark and no limit on batches.
