How to use this tool

Many social platforms, slide apps and email builders won’t accept SVG files, so logos and icons need a PNG version. This SVG to PNG converter draws the vector at the width you set, from 16 to 4096 pixels, and keeps transparent areas. It’s for designers, marketers and developers who need crisp raster assets fast.

  1. 01

    Choose your SVG files

Click Choose files and pick one or more .svg files, up to 20 per batch. Logos, icons and simple illustrations work best.

  2. 02

    Set the output width

Enter a value in Width (px), from 16 up to 4096; the default is 800. Height is calculated from the SVG’s proportions, so a 640 × 360 graphic at 800 px wide becomes 800 × 450.

  3. 03

    Check the result and download

The PNG updates as you change the width. Check it over the checkerboard preview, then click Download or Download ZIP.

Choosing the right PNG size

Because SVG is vector-based, a larger width stays sharp instead of getting blurry. • 512–1024 px for profile pictures and app icons • 1200–2000 px for logos in social graphics and slides • Up to 4096 px for print work or high-density screens • Very tall SVGs may hit the 40-megapixel limit at large widths

What gets removed for safety

The tool cleans each SVG before drawing it, which can change how some files look. • Scripts, event handlers and links to outside files are removed • Inline style attributes and <style> blocks are dropped, so CSS-based colors may disappear • Embedded images, filters, patterns and foreignObject content aren’t drawn • Shapes, paths, text, gradients, masks and clip paths are kept

Tips for a clean export

• Export from your design app with presentation attributes (fill, stroke) instead of CSS classes • Convert text to outlines if you used a custom font; otherwise a device font is used • Give the SVG width and height attributes so its proportions are read correctly • Transparent areas stay transparent in the PNG

Frequently asked questions

What is an SVG to PNG converter?

An SVG to PNG converter turns a vector SVG file into a PNG image made of pixels. SocQ’s converter renders each SVG in your browser at the width you choose and saves a PNG with any transparent areas intact.

How do I convert SVG to PNG?

1. Click Choose files and select your .svg files. 2. Enter the output size in Width (px). 3. Check the live PNG result. 4. Click Download, or Download ZIP for several files.

Can I choose the exported PNG size?

Yes. Set Width (px) between 16 and 4096 pixels, and the height follows the SVG’s proportions. Smaller values are raised to 16, and the full image must stay under 40 megapixels.

Does the PNG keep a transparent background?

Yes. Areas with no fill in the SVG stay transparent in the PNG, which the preview shows as a checkerboard. If you need a solid background, add a full-size rectangle to the SVG before converting.

Will the PNG be blurry?

Not if you set the width you need here. The vector is drawn directly at that size instead of being stretched from a small image. Enlarging the PNG later in another app will soften it, so export at the final size or larger.

Why do colors or parts of my SVG look missing?

For safety, the tool removes CSS styles, embedded images, filters and external links before drawing. Files exported with CSS classes can lose their fills. Re-export the SVG with fill and stroke attributes, or flatten effects into paths.

Why does my text use a different font?

Linked web fonts are removed along with other external references, so text is drawn with a font available on your device. Convert text to outlines in your design app before exporting the SVG to keep the exact lettering.

Can I convert several SVG files at once?

Yes. Add up to 20 SVG files in one batch. They all use the same Width (px), and Download ZIP saves every PNG together in one archive.

Are my SVG files uploaded?

No. The SVG is read, cleaned and drawn in your browser, so the files stay on your device and aren’t sent to SocQ’s servers. Closing the tab clears the results.

Is the SVG to PNG converter free?

Yes. You can convert SVG files without an account, and the PNGs have no watermark or SocQ branding. Each batch holds up to 20 files, and you can run as many batches as you need.
