How to use this tool
TikTok doesn’t publish a fixed pay rate, so “how much will this video make?” usually gets a vague answer. This calculator takes the views you want to model and a low and high RPM (revenue per 1,000 views) you choose, then returns an earnings range you can plan with. It’s meant for creators deciding whether Creator Rewards is worth chasing, managers forecasting a talent’s month and anyone checking a viral “I made $X” claim.
- 01
Enter the views to model
Type into Views the views you want to estimate, using digits only, such as 500000. For Creator Rewards, use qualified views from your dashboard rather than total plays.
- 02
Set a Low RPM and High RPM
Enter the lowest and highest revenue per 1,000 views you expect, in any currency. If you already earn rewards, divide past earnings by qualified views and multiply by 1,000 to get your own RPM.
- 03
Calculate and read the range
Select Calculate to see the Lower estimate and Upper estimate with the formula. Adjust Views to test a monthly goal, then select Copy to keep the numbers.
How the TikTok money calculator works
Estimated earnings = views ÷ 1,000 × RPM. The calculator runs this once with your Low RPM and once with your High RPM and shows both results. Worked example: 500,000 qualified views at an assumed RPM of $0.40–$1 gives 500 × $0.40 = $200 and 500 × $1 = $500, so a $200–$500 estimate. Creator-economy guides often report Creator Rewards RPMs somewhere around that range, but real rates vary widely by account and month.
What changes TikTok earnings per 1,000 views
• Audience location: viewers in some countries are worth more to advertisers. • Watch time and engagement: TikTok rewards views together with other engagement signals. • Video length: Creator Rewards only counts eligible videos of at least one minute. • Originality: reposted or unoriginal content can be excluded. • Niche and season: advertiser demand rises and falls over the year. Because TikTok doesn’t publish its formula, a wide RPM range gives a more honest estimate.
Who can join TikTok Creator Rewards
At the time of writing, TikTok’s US program terms require creators to be 18 or older, use a personal (not business) account in good standing, have at least 10,000 followers and have at least 100,000 authentic video views in the last 30 days. Rewards apply to eligible videos at least one minute long, and the program is only available in selected countries. Check TikTok’s Creator Academy or the program terms for your country, since requirements can change.
Other TikTok income this estimate leaves out
Views-based rewards are only one income stream. Brand deals, LIVE gifts, subscriptions, TikTok Shop affiliate commissions and off-platform sales are priced in different ways and often earn more than rewards. Keep each in a separate line of your plan, and use this calculator for the views × RPM part only.
Frequently asked questions
What is a TikTok money calculator?
A TikTok money calculator estimates how much a creator could earn from video views. This one multiplies the views you enter by a low and high RPM to produce an earnings range. It doesn’t look up any TikTok account, so the result depends entirely on the RPM you choose.
How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views?
TikTok doesn’t publish a fixed rate. Creator-reported Creator Rewards earnings are often quoted at roughly $0.40–$1 per 1,000 qualified views, but they vary with audience country, engagement, niche and season. Your own dashboard, divided by qualified views, gives the most reliable RPM.
How do I estimate my TikTok earnings?
1. Find the qualified views for the period you want to estimate. 2. Divide them by 1,000. 3. Multiply by a low and a high RPM. For example, 200,000 views at $0.50–$1 RPM is 200 × $0.50 = $100 to 200 × $1 = $200. The calculator handles steps 2 and 3.
What are the TikTok Creator Rewards Program requirements?
At the time of writing, TikTok’s US terms list: age 18 or older, a personal account in good standing, at least 10,000 followers and at least 100,000 authentic views in the last 30 days. Only original videos of at least one minute earn rewards, and availability depends on your country. Check TikTok’s official program page for current rules.
How much money does TikTok pay for 1 million views?
It depends on the RPM. At an assumed $0.40–$1 RPM, 1,000,000 qualified views works out to $400–$1,000, because 1,000,000 ÷ 1,000 = 1,000. Only count views from eligible videos of one minute or longer, since shorter videos don’t earn Creator Rewards.
Do TikTok videos under one minute make money?
Not through Creator Rewards: at the time of writing, the program terms only reward eligible videos at least one minute long. Shorter videos can still earn indirectly through brand deals, TikTok Shop affiliate sales or LIVE gifts. Leave those out of this calculator and estimate them separately.
Are the sample RPM values real TikTok payout rates?
No. The $1–$4 sample only demonstrates the calculation and is higher than many creator-reported rewards rates. Replace it with your own RPM from past payouts, or a cautious range, to get an estimate that fits your account.
Does the estimate include brand deals or TikTok Shop?
No. The calculator models the views × RPM part of income only. Brand deals are usually priced per deliverable, and TikTok Shop pays commission on sales, so estimate them on their own and add the totals together in your plan.
Does this calculator access my TikTok account?
No. It runs in your browser using only the numbers you type, with no TikTok login and no upload of your inputs to a server. Select Clear to empty the fields whenever you want.
Is the TikTok money calculator free?
Yes. It’s free to use with no signup, login or download. Enter views and an RPM range, select Calculate and compare as many scenarios as you need.
